Adult Classes for Humanitarian Entrants
Computer Programs

The Edmund Rice Centre conducts First & Second Click programs. These are funded by the Department of Education for people with English as a second language. Classes are held on Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, at 9.30am and 11.30am. All classes are of 2 hours duration.

First Click

First Click is designed to increase computer literacy among the 400,000 adult Western Australians who have no computing or Internet skills and do not want to enroll in a formal course at TAFE or University.

Second Click

Second Click is a more advanced computer course, which aims to develop those skills learnt in First Click. Students are introduced to the full Office suite and are encouraged to learn many other skills, such as digital photography use of scanners and much more.  We will also continue to help students discover the “World Wide Web” and all it has to offer, building on their emailing know how and their ability to surf the net.

English Classes

Classes are conducted on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday beginning at 9.30am, 11.30am and 1.30pm and are of 2 hours duration.
