Resources
The Edmund Rice Centre is an incorporated not-for-profit, charitable organization, managed by a Committee of Management. The day to day operation is managed by a full time Director and program Coordinators.
It also has a full time community settlement worker. a number of part time staff members and a large team of volunteers, many of whom are qualified teachers.
The Centre has an administration area, four classrooms including a computer laboratory, a kitchen and recreational area. The teaching staff are supplied with training and the necessary equipment to assist them.
Classroom sizes are kept small to encourage a good learning environment and participants are allowed to progress at their own speed.
Completion certificates are awarded to those who finish their course and many services are offered which help participants settle in their new country.
